Little People Big World Spoilers – Thieves Tea, Not Medicine

The 31-year-old TLC personality suggested that her fans drink a mixture of lemon and honey to treat streptococcus (strep). For those not in the know, strep is a bacterium commonly found on a person’s skin or in the nose and throat.

During an Instagram Q&A, Audrey was asked if she had any treatment ideas for strep – “instead of or along with strep.” Her response quickly set off critics.

Audrey Roloff answered the fan, saying, “I’ve experienced a lot of relief from making ‘thieves’ tea. Couple drops thieves, organic lemon, raw honey, *mot [sic] medical advice.” Critics quickly blasted the TLC personality for suggesting alternative medicine for a condition that could be very serious.

One critic took to Reddit, writing, “The message about strep is so dangerous! My son developed Rheumatic Fever from Strep, and I can promise that you do NOT want to see your child go through that!”

Another chimed in suggesting Audrey was essentially abusing her platform as a reality TV star, writing, “Yes!! I get people wanting to be natural, but these idiots combined with such a large platform are dangerous!”

“I gasped when i [sic] saw that!! Strep can have serious consequences without antibiotics 🙁 why even risk that,” a third Redditor wrote. Another commented that it didn’t matter if she used the disclaimer “not medical advice” adding that she just shouldn’t post the answer, to begin with.

Backlash Over Disney Trip

Audrey also took flak earlier in the week when she decided to take his youngsters to Disneyland. The reality TV star shared an Instagram reel of her children Ember, 5, and Bodie, 3, and Radley, discovering that they were going to the popular amusement park.

Some critics castigated her for taking her children to a place that was less than Christian. Audrey shared a screenshot of the over-the-top criticism in the comment section for the reel captioning it, “Comments on my reel like this.” The comment in question read, “How can a Christian go to Disney? Pls protect your children.”

Fortunately, many fans lent support to the TV personality with some even pointing out that her husband Jeremy Roloff’s brother Zach had just gone to the park implying that Audrey and Jeremy were just following suit.
