General Hospital (GH) Spoilers: Elizabeth’s Confession, Ava’s Panic – Elizabeth Suspicious Of Ava?
General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) will make a full confession about how she helped Nikolas Cassadine (Adam Huss) keep Esmé Prince (Avery Kristen Pohl) captive. But Ava Jerome (Maura West) will panic when she finds out, and Elizabeth will pick up on there’s more to Ava’s panic than meets the eye.
General Hospital Spoilers – A Difficult Decision
Elizabeth didn’t come to the decision to confess easily, because she knew that if she went to prison for her part it would affect her boys’ lives adversely. But she couldn’t live her life waiting for the other shoe to drop, like when she and Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton) went through trying to hide “dead” Peter August (Wes Ramsey). She doesn’t want to constantly be looking over her shoulder and worrying when she’ll be connected to the crime, figuring if she comes clean her boys can be proud of her.
She has already contacted Scott Baldwin (Kin Shriner) who tried to get a deal beforehand with Port Charles District Attorney Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers). She tells the police every single detail, leaving nothing out.
General Hospital Updates – Elizabeth Baldwin Remembers Ava Jerome’s Pushing Her
Elizabeth remembers Ava’s pushing her not to go to the police, and realizes she was trying just a little too hard. She doesn’t bring that up to either Scott or the police but there was something about Ava’s insistence that seemed suspicious. She had told Elizabeth, like everyone else, that Nikolas had shown up at Wyndemere the night before Ryan Chamberlain (Jon Lindstrom) died and they’d argued. Nikolas had left town and no one could reach him, and now she knows Esmé went into labor on the island after escaping with Ryan and Heather Webber (Alley Mills). Nikolas wanted that baby too bad just to leave town with Esmé nine months pregnant and disappear; that was one big reason she helped him with her.
Ava Jerome Panics
Ava, of course, panics when she realizes Elizabeth had gone through with her confession, knowing the police might try to track Nikolas down. She was lucky that Esmé and Heather were in the mansion and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) killed Ryan, because now he couldn’t tell anyone she killed Nikolas. Austin Gatlin-Holt (Roger Howarth) won’t tell, he was there to help her dispose of Nikolas’ body when Heather hooked him.
But now, new searches of Spoon Island may take place in relation to Elizabeth’s confession, both pertaining to Esmé’s ordeal in the north tower and Nikolas missing. Meanwhile, Elizabeth, back at the PCPD suspects Ava has something to hide about Nikolas.

[…] Elizabeth might come back around, despite how poorly her last conversation went with Esme. As the time comes for Esme to be transported back to Spring Ridge, Elizabeth might catch wind of the struggle Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Chavez) is having securing custody of Esme and Nikolas Cassadine’s (Adam Huss) baby. When Elizabeth heads back to Esme’s room this time, it’s going to be with good intentions. She hasn’t felt right about the way she rolled over on Nikolas — no matter how angry she is with him. Just because the police granted her immunity doesn’t mean she’s not guilty, and she feels like she should pay for what she’s done in some way. The least she could do is offer to care for baby Ace in Esme’s absence. […]
