Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Very Special Day For Ericole Fans

While Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) are once again on the outs, they always seem like endgame and have since 1998 when DAYS fans were first introduced to waitress Nicole Walker and Eric was immediately smitten.

Over the last 25 years, they have been apart more than they have been together, but they are never out of one another’s minds and that will be abundantly evident this week.

Nicole starts her day having breakfast with her father figure Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and his wife, Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry), and it hits her that is exactly 25 years since she first met Eric at Salem Place, changing her life forever.

“Nicole’s having this lovely, nostalgic conversation with the two of them when it comes up,” Arianne Zucker said in the March 6, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. She also admitted that Nicole feels an “underlying sadness” about the day considering the state of her relationship with Eric now — which is not in a good place at all.

Still, her sadness does not prevent Nicole from recounting her love story with Eric so Paulina can hear it all for the first time.

“Of course, you remember all the innocence of your first love. The attraction and the chemistry,” Zucker said. “Nicole’s feeling all that and feeling, at the moment, that she’s never going to have that again.”

Eventually, Eric shows up and the pair get to talking on their own. That’s when Nicole learns that Eric and Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty( have broken up. While Nicole is glad to hear this, she also needs to move on with her life and is doing that with EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel), but that pull towards Eric still remains.
