The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) has a new drama in the new year. She felt nauseous when meeting with Chloe Mitchel (Elizabeth Hendrickson). Hope’s character later asked for and received a pregnancy test.

Sally’s results, while unofficial, indicate that she is pregnant. A more formal test is needed to confirm that she will be having a child sometime this summer.

Nick realized Sally was smart, not conniving, and was not using her position to social climb. That point appeared to be proven at a later point in the plot when Sally rejected Nick’s offer to fund her new business.

Adam is attracted to Sally for different reasons than his brother. In effect, Adam sees Sally as another version of himself.

The platitudes Adam has been throwing at Sally in recent months, after she broke from him, involve their mutual sense of recklessness. He sees Sally as a successor to his other perceived partners in crime, meaning Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case).

Sally chased Adam for a significant period until catching him and then saw the soapy tables reversed. Their final romantic meeting, in her Grand Phoenix, may not prove to be a goodbye. Instead, it could be the tie that eternally binds.

Sally left Los Angeles, California, because she wanted a fresh start. It took a few missteps, but she seemed to have accomplished her goal.

Her job at Jabot and link to Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) were both briefs. Sally quickly rebounded, regained career traction at Newman Enterprises, and gained not one but two men’s attention.

Switching from Adam to Nick has not been a smooth process. Sally believed she was finished with Adam on more than one occasion, and Nick would be her chosen destiny. But that outcome is far from certain on Y&R.
