The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document that Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) under her spell. He might be one of only two people who can break it, with the other being her.

Phyllis Summers’s (Michelle Stafford) conversation with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) at the Glam Club, Genoa City, Wisconsin’s trendiest meeting place, included a visit from Summer Newman Abbott (Allison Lanier). Phyllis did not want to talk to her daughter, believing that Diane had her bamboozled as well.

But viewers saw that Summer pulled herself out of the weeds. She is not in Diane’s camp anymore. That could be a momentum shift on Y&R.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashley Abbott Is Incredulous

Ashley told Jackie, the childhood nickname for her brother that is especially appropriate when he behaves like a boy in modern times, that she has not fallen for Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John). Ashley is indeed leading Tucker on to gain as much information from him as possible.

While Ashley does find Tucker to be appealing, she has not allowed herself to be drug into his schemes. In stark contrast, Jack wants to pay one million dollars to a convicted criminal whose current actions against Diane should put him back in jail.

Walking in on Ashley and Jack in yet another embrace still proved surprising. Ashley can not believe her brother has been taken in by Diane the manipulator.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Jeremy Stark Is A Threat

Diane threatened to leave GC for good. She did not intend to fake her death or frame Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) for murder, as happened in daytime days gone by.

Instead, Diane wanted to run away so that Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) could not get her. She also believed that would shield the Abbott family. Jackie stepped in, told her she should hide at the Abbott cabin, and she did.

Jeremy remains a threat because money is not his only goal. He liked Diane and is not sure her story is true. Hyde’s character seems certain to determine that she ratted on him, and then any outcome is possible.

Jack Abbott Reinforces Diane Jenkins’ Family Status

Jack considers Diane part of his family. To all Diane detractors, sorry, she is.

Phyllis, Summer, and Ashley can not fight the genetic bond Diane has with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Harrison Locke (Kellen Enriquez). That is why Jack responded with deep emotion whenever Phyllis or Ashley attempts to use logic.

Diane has slithered her way inside Jack’s mind. His heart is beating harder by the day, with a full-blown romantic reunion now possible on Y&R.
