Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) took a meeting with Phyllis. He wanted to hear what she had to say about her son’s idea. She was smart when not offering any specific details but explained the concept in broad terms.

Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was asked to sit in on the chat. Nate values the insight his newly hired Chief Operating Officer provides and agrees with her aggressive approach to life.

Daniel later learned what his mother did on his behalf and did not value Phyllis’ aggressive approach.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Tucker McCall Wants Access

Meanwhile, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) sought Daniel out when seeing him at Crimson Lights. The head of McCall Unlimited, which is a worldwide conglomerate that was said to have a mostly non-western base, wants to financially back Daniel’s gaming concept.

Viewers suspended disbelief as Tucker was proceeding, knowing that the head of any major company would likely not be involved in entry-level recruitment, especially with a new product. But fans also knew Tucker wants to team with Phyllis to get back at Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters).

Daniel was not impressed with Tucker’s offer. He was also bothered when the subject of his romantic connection (Heather Stevens, Vail Bloom) and daughter (Lucy Romalotti, Lily Brooks O’Briant) was raised.

It was intriguing that Tucker knew about them and chose to mention Heather and Lucy’s names. He did so to let Daniel know that he has intel sources, with a wink to the fans about the pending recast returns.

Bloom previously played one of the versions of Paul Williams’s (Doug Davidson) and April Stevens’ (Rebecca Staab) daughter. O’Briant is the slightly SORAS’d (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) edition of the daughter Daniel had with Daisy Carter (Yvonne Zima), who is Sheila Carter’s (Kimberlin Brown) daughter.

Phyllis will involve herself in her granddaughter’s life when she returns to Genoa City, Wisconsin. What develops there and how Daniel’s connection with Heather and potential with Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) will be hot topics in the coming days on Y&R.
