Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that Roman Brady’s (Josh Taylor) rage will intensify as he and his friends grieve the deaths of their wives. But after he and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) try to rein in Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) revenge, he’ll think he had the right idea.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Orpheus Needs To Be Ended

Roman himself was the one who accidentally shot Orpheus’ (George DelHoyo) wife Rebecca (uncast) all those years ago when she walked into the ISA’s camp. Roman was Orpheus’, then known by his real name Milo Harp partner and Roman thought she was a Russian spy when she came and reacted instead of acted. He’s regretted it ever since, but Orpheus went mad and has been a diabolical criminal ever since.

Roman and John stopped Steve from trying to kill Orpheus in Statesville, and John previously stopped Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) from killing him. But the more time has gone on, the more Roman has come to feel that perhaps Lucas and Steve had the right idea.

DOOL Spoilers: Trying To Cope Without His Katie Brady

Roman and Kate, or “Katie” as only he was allowed to call her, had only been married a couple of months when the toxin Orpheus gave her killed her. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) had also died in short order and the three widowers’ grief and rage is overwhelming.

Of all of Kate’s children, only Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) had been there in person, and he’d notified Lucas with John walking in, holding Lucas back from killing Orpheus. Roman got a full report of what had happened and he remembers Lucas’ fierce temper, and decides someone needs to put Orpheus out of their misery. Roman arranges to visit Lucas in Statesville, knowing how to get around security since he was once the Salem Police Commissioner.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Roman Brady Meets With Lucas Horton

Roman meets with Lucas, taking care to make sure they’re not heard or recorded. He knows that Orpheus and Clyde Weston (James Read) always take over in any prison they’re at and there’s a hierarchy. Lucas is shocked when his ex-father in law, Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) father tells him what he wants him to do, although he agrees it needs to be done.

Roman even managed to sneak in a book for Lucas with a sharp knife hidden in the binding-it passed security coming in with no problem. There’s also a little something to make Orpheus very sleepy and off his game when Lucas attacks.
