Lily has expressed her concern to Billy about his need to help Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) work through her depression. His need to be there for her has Lily on edge. She isn’t jealous of their connection but worries that Billy is getting in over his head.

On Wednesday, November 30, Lily explained to Chelsea that the attention Billy gives her takes away from their relationship. Lily hoped Chelsea would lean on her family and friends to overcome this difficult time. While she didn’t explicitly say it, Lily meant that she should leave her man alone and lean on Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), Sharon Newman (Sharon Case), Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson), and her therapist.

At some point, Lily will hit her breaking point with Billy and end their relationship. With Daniel in town, the decision to break up with Billy will be easier. She can occupy her time by spending time with Daniel.
