Ridge deserves the truth. After all, Ridge ended his marriage over this CPS call that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) knows nothing about. Ridge truly believed that Brooke made this call. Ridge even tried to get Brooke to confess. However, Brooke had no idea what she was supposed to confess to. Brooke knew that someone called CPS but she also knew it wasn’t her.

Douglas knows this is not fair to his Grandma Brooke and he wants the record set straight. Steffy nodded at Douglas as if to promise that the right thing would be done even if she has to do it. Douglas may play the recordings himself since he is the one who played them for Steffy. If nothing else this would show that Douglas wants to do the right thing no matter what. Ridge would be proud of his grandson for standing up to his father. After all, Thomas was raised better than this.

Will Steffy wait until the famous line, “if anyone has any objections…” but Steffy will feel the need to make sure her father has the whole story. Steffy doesn’t want to believe that Ridge is lying about his feeling for her mother, however, she doesn’t feel that he can start a marriage without having the whole truth either.
