General Hospital Comings And Goings: Michael Blake Kruse Pays Tribute To Rory On His Way Out

Michael Blake Kruse

General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal Trina Robinson continuing to mourn Officer Rory Cabrera, who died after being attacked by The Hook last week.

General Hospital Spoilers – Rory Is No More

Rory’s life seemed to be going great, which was an indication that he was going to meet his soap opera maker. Yes, he told Trina that he loved her but she couldn’t bring herself to return the sentiment. Still, things were going great at work and Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) spent the morning commending him.

Then, he decided to go rogue and all hell broke loose when he went after The Hook on his own. Rory died after telling Trina that he doesn’t regret confessing his feelings and that was the end of Michael Blake Kruse’s nine months on the soap.

He was introduced right when Tabyana Ali took over the role of Trina and was the kind officer who brought her a soda when she was wrongfully arrested for making a sex tape of Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and Cameron Webber (William Lipton).

General Hospital Updates – Michael Blake Kruse Says Goodbye

Although we knew very little about Rory except for the fact that he was into comic books, anime, and graphic novels, Kruse seemed to have his own insight into the character and paid tribute to him on social media after Rory’s death.

General Hospital: Rory Cabera

“Many thanks to everyone who has sent me supportive messages in light of Rory Cabrera leaving the GH canvas,” Kruse wrote.

“I enjoyed playing the character and valued his essence. Yes, he was unsophisticated and naive but at least he was genuine. In particular with Trina, he was always sincere and had her best interests at heart. That has to count for something with Sprina fans.

Rory was a mediocre cop at best, but Port Charles isn’t the easiest town to police. He was also equipped with a holster from the 70s, no radio, and no bulletproof vest.

Above all. I had the pleasure of working with some incredible people and have a newfound respect for everyone involved with daytime TV. It’s easy to critique but not easy to create.

All my love and appreciation to the fans who were supportive along the way.”

Stay tuned to General Hospital weekdays to see if Spencer and Trina can manage to catch The Hook on their own.
