The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers document Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) told his sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), something she did not know. Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) is not being charmed. Instead, Ashley’s ex-husband is using her.

Ashley’s superior attitude allowed her to believe that Jack was naive whereas Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) is concerned. But Jack has arguably been maintaining a fair balance between keeping an open mind, protecting his son’s interests, and keeping her at a distance since revealing she was not murdered.

No matter Jack’s belief or the intensity of Ashley’s feelings, Diane is clearly a source of trouble. Who would not be after faking her own death and allowing Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to endure the stress of a murder charge?

Diane returned to Genoa City, Wisconsin, claiming she wanted to reestablish a relationship with her son. But, as Jack said, she has slow-dripped a lot of hidden information.

Keeping Tucker’s request for intel about Ashley’s whereabouts did not cause much harm. That was confirmed when Davidson’s character shrugged it off. However, not telling Jack about Tucker’s request for Jabot’s financial information was wrong.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Tucker McCall Did Not Realize Diane Jenkins’ Help

Tucker asked Diane to let him know when Ashley returned from Paris, France. Diane did not deliver that information to him because she was unaware of her return plans. Of course, Diane also did not seek to obtain the intel.

As was true of her above choice, Diane did not seek Jabot’s financials because she did not intend to provide that crucial information to Tucker. Walters’ character could not easily obtain those records that are stored as computer files.

So, Jack’s stand on Diane is based on her actions. Ashley’s defense of her plans with Tucker are less defensible.

Ashley knows that Tucker wants her back. She is very familiar with guys who offer attention. But Ashley is also experienced in dealing with men who have created trouble. She repeatedly connected with that personality type.

Jack has also been linked to trouble-making romantic connections. But he cut Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) off within the past year-plus, with lessons learned being applied.

Ashley has been single since she and Tucker divorced approximately a decade ago. So, she has been leery of formalizing a tie through marriage. However, Jack proved that Tucker was outsmarting her, leaving Ashley temporarily speechless on Y&R.
