The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Devon Bounces Back To Elena, Takes Revenge On Nate?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that with Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) and Elena Dawson’s (Brytni Sarpy) relationships both on the outs, they could reunite. But the big question is, would Devon hook up with Elena because he wants her back, or just to rub Nate Hastings’ (Sean Dominic) nose in it and get revenge?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – A Vicious Circle

Recently, Devon and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) were caught hooking up by Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd). Chance told Abby she belongs with Devon, while Amanda packed up to move to Virginia and turned in her resignation. That could mean that the powers that be will make Devon and Abby a couple, but in the meantime, Elena’s having problems with Nate.

Nate and Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) could very well become a couple but Nate and Devon’s problems stem from when Elena was with Devon and slept with Nate. Devon got into a physical fight with his cousin, injuring Nate’s hand so he could never do surgery again, but if he really wants revenge he could take Elena back.

The Young And The Restless Updates – The Deepest Stab In The Back

Elena doesn’t want Nate the businessman, she wants Nate the successful doctor because she is a doctor too. But that’s not saying if Devon made moves on her she wouldn’t take him back, although she too might feel threatened by Abby since he and Abby have that child together. Elena felt threatened when Amanda came to town, looking just like Devon’s late wife Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan), and made him get rid of all remembrances of her. Clearly, Elena is the jealous type whether it be another woman or another career her man’s involved with, even if he’s not cheating on her- she was jealous of Hilary’s memory. For Nate, it would be the deepest stab in the back if Devon put the moves on Elena and they reunited, even if he and Abby get together later.

Elena Dawson Warned Him

When Nate was playing corporate spy and hurting Devon and Lily Winters’ (Christel Khalil) company, it was Elena who warned of trouble. She didn’t want Nate to hurt himself and the company but she didn’t want Devon hurt either. She knew how important his father’s legacy is to Devon and so there is some loyalty there.

If Devon wanted Elena back, she might go back with him; after all, it was her failures that caused the rift between the cousins. But she will see it as making amends with Devon even if he sees it as stabbing Nate in the back and getting revenge.
