The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Alyn Lind Lands Gig On The Spiderwick Chronicles

The Young and the Restless spoilers, news, and updates tease that Alyn Lind, who played the role of Faith Newman on the soap, has joined the cast of The Spiderwick Chronicles. The young actress took to Instagram to share the good news.

“Can’t wait for you guys to meet Calliope!” the actress shared on social media.

Lynd will take on the role of Calliope in the Disney+ series. She looks normal on the outside, but she’s actually a fetch who is trying to stay as close as possible to the evil ogre, Mulgarath (Christian Slater), and help him locate Spiderwick’s Field Guide.

The Spiderwick Chronicles is based on the best-selling book written by Tony DiTerlizzi and Holly Black. It follows the story of kids and families struggling with mental health issues and other timely and relevant topics.

A family leaves New York, moves to Michigan, and moves into the Spiderwick Estate. Everything seems normal at first until they get pulled into an alternate world.

Other cast members include Lyon Daniels, Noah Cottrell, and Christian Slater. They’ll be joined by Momona Tamada as Emiko, Mychala Lee as Mallory Grace, and Joy Bryant as Helen Grace.

The first two episodes of the series will be directed by Kat Coiro and produced by Paramount Television Studios and 20th Television.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Breaks Up With Abby

Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will break it off with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) and encourage her to be with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) instead.

Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) will learn that Abby has been struggling with her relationship with Chance. Mariah understands that Chance is devoted to his work, but she also wants him to spend more time with Abby.

However, Mariah is unaware that Abby slept with Devon, and Chance knows all about it. The latter won’t tell Mariah about it, but he’ll talk to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case). After their conversation, Chance decides to end things with Abby.

Devon Tries To Convince Amanda To Stay

Devon will also try to convince Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to stay. She’s packed up all her things, and she’s all set to leave Virginia. She’ll believe him when he says that he didn’t plan to betray her. However, Amanda will argue that he ignored every opportunity to stay away from Abby. She’ll point out that perhaps he’s just in denial about his feelings for Abby.
