General Hospital (GH) spoilers tease that Epiphany Johnson (Sonja Eddy) has been a nurse for almost all of her adult life. But she has always wanted something more. Epiphany has always dreamed of becoming a doctor and thanks to some encouragement from Marshall Ashford (Roger Gossett), she is about to become one step closer to her dream. Marshall convinced Epiphany to take the MCAT and she would certainly pass with flying colors!

General Hospital Spoilers – Epiphany Jones Has Been The Head Nurse At General Hospital For Years!

Epiphany has been in charge of the nurses at General Hospital for decades now. She has always been stern but fair. Not all that long ago, thanks to Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober), Epiphany was forced to take an administrative position and wasn’t able to see patients. This, along with snide remarks from other doctors on staff started to take its toll. That was quite a difficult time for Epiphany but she persevered. Once Cyrus was finally removed as Chairman of the Board at the hospital, Epiphany was able to return to patient care, which is her first love.

General Hospital Updates – Many Doctors At General Hospital Took Epiphany Jones For Granted.

Many of the doctors at General Hospital know how to trust Epiphany’s instincts. But there have been times when she has been told to stick to nursing and let the doctors do what they have been trained to do. This caused Epiphany to become dejected. When Marshall noticed this happening, he encouraged Epiphany to follow her dream. She’s spent the last several months studying for the MCATs with the help of Dr. Portia Robinson (Brooke Kerr). Portia was happy to take Epiphany under her wing because she knew that Epiphany had all the makings of an excellent doctor.

General Hospital Spoilers – A new romance for Epiphany Jones!

Epiphany and Marshall have been growing close ever since he came to Port Charles a year ago. With his support, as well as Portia’s, Epiphany decided the time was right to go to medical school. She has taken the MCATs and judging from her smile as she read the first question, she will likely pass the entrance exam with flying colors. But even so, that will only be the first step as Epiphany begins medical school. It won’t be easy to juggle school with a full-time nursing career, but if anyone can do it, it’s Epiphany Jones!
