The Young And The Restless (Y&R) Spoilers: Johnny’s World Blows Up, Chelsea Forces Truth From Victoria?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Johnny Abbott’s (Paxton Mishkind) world is getting ready to blow up. His birth mother, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) is going to force Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) to reveal Chelsea’s real mother whether he’s ready or not.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Why The Rush?

Chelsea has gotten the idea in her head that Johnny should know the truth as soon as possible, and she wants to be a part of her son’s life. She wants to form a bond with him and have him form a brother bond instead of a cousin bond with her other son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) as well. Now that Johnny has gotten past the whole Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) evil stepfather mess, Chelsea thinks it’s perfect timing.

Victoria always meant to tell Johnny the truth someday, possibly when he is older, and let him make his own decision. But Chelsea is pushing that envelope and forcing Victoria to drop that truth bomb whether the boy is ready for it or not.

The Young And The Restless Updates – Victoria Newman Cornered

During the week of September 19, Chelsea will back Victoria into a corner, and she’ll leave Victoria no choice in the matter. Chelsea could say something in front of Johnny that will force Victoria into telling him the truth about who Chelsea really is to him. It’s even possible that Chelsea will tell him herself and put Victoria into a real bind, making her look like a liar. Johnny naturally would have lots of questions and he’s weirded out by Chelsea, to begin with, especially that day she hovered over him at the pool. Suffice it to say, Johnny’s going to be in shock and Victoria will have a lot of explaining to do.

 Disaster Ahead?

It’s easy to see there could be disaster ahead if Chelsea tries to push her adoring but smothering mother love on Johnny all of a sudden. She may have some ulterior motives and inner fantasies about her, Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) who she’s becoming fixated on becoming a tidy little family unit. Connor may not react to his cousin really being his brother well either, viewers will remember he bullied his other brother Christian Newman (Alex Wilson).

This suddenly forced truth bomb could cause behavioral and emotional problems in both boys, although Connor seems to be more prone to them. Chelsea may be creating some real chaos in both of her boys’ lives by trying to force the truth on them too soon.
