The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) continue to apply pressure on their father. They believe he has reached a crossroads, with one of two paths being the right one.

B&B fans have seen multiple mini retrospectives where Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye), Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen), and Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) reflect upon love. Ridge has split time reflecting on memorable moments with both loves of his life.

But it is fair to question whether the push combined push Steffy and Thomas are making will produce the result they want.

Brooke has progressively regressed from feeling sure, fairly sure, uncertain, to worried about Ridge’s frame of mind. She sees Taylor as a direct threat to her marriage because Ridge has not fully assured Brooke that their marriage will endure.

Lang is one of two remaining cast members, along with John McCook (Eric Forrester), who was present during this soap opera’s debut year in 1987. Brooke remains a lead character. So, her storyline is naturally important.

Ridge has been Brooke’s husband for one of the longest continuous periods in real-time, with this couple remarrying in 2018. The other seven marriages did not last as long in real-time, with some being comparable to the current union due to the fluid nature of soap-time.

The length of Brooke and Ridge’s current marriage makes it plausible that they will split. That has been their pattern since first marrying in 1994.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Taylor Hayes Remains Optimistic

Taylor’s optimism exists, in part, because her fan club continues to cheer her on. Steffy and Thomas are hopeful but also offer their mother an ideal scenario.

Yes, Ridge could leave Brooke after he sees her embracing Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) in an upcoming teased scene. Then again, Kaye’s character could blow that off because Brooke recently forgave Ridge when he admitted to kissing Taylor in Monte Carlo.

Long-time fans are right to feel that momentum may be on Taylor’s side. Her return from Africa and all that has happened since appears to be building toward a reunion with Ridge.

Ridge Forrester Trying To Be Thoughtful

Ridge has often exhibited impulsive behavior, especially where Brooke is concerned. The breadth of his involvement with her has produced a far greater volume of emotional bonding moments in recent years when compared to those he has shared with Taylor.

Taylor has not been married to Ridge since 2006 in real-time. In soap-time, it is more than sixteen years based on the SORAS’ing (soap opera rapid aging syndrome) of Steffy and Thomas in the past.

However, Ridge clearly does not want to be told what to do. So, Steffy and Thomas’ efforts, while recognized as heartfelt by their dad, could fail or backfire on B&B.
