Deacon knew Sheila was a fugitive and soon heard Deputy Chief Bradley Baker (Dan Martin) knocking on his door. Sheila begged Deacon to protect her. He only did so because he feared Martin’s character would arrest him for shielding Sheila.

Fans wondered how Sheila knew where to find Deacon, who had moved into his new apartment on Il Giardino’s property.

Sheila thought it was funny to have fooled Deacon into cavorting with her. He had no idea that the redhead who eyeballed him at Il Giardino’s bar and followed him to his apartment was Sheila.

The audience knew it was Sheila because of her undeniable facial structure. But the suspension of disbelief method was accepted to push the plot.

Deacon is in yet another no-win situation. He should have turned Sheila in, and still could. But that would wrap up this part of the plot.

If the authorities do not learn Sheila is living with him, someone he knows likely will. Will either scenario, or both, play out soon, or might this new drama be stretched into the fall?

Of course, fans are hoping that Deacon lives to tell about this experience which is classic B&B soap.
