Denise Richards admitted that she knows about those rumors regarding her plastic surgery. And now the Bold And The Beautiful actress feels ready to tell all. Chatting with Yahoo, Richards spilled a surprising confession.
And Denise admitted she actually regrets her plastic surgery. As a result, she recently talked with her daughters about her procedures. And the 51-year-old mom of three girls told them specifically about her breast implants.
“I tell them, if I could do it all over again, I would not have had implants,” admitted Richards. But the Bold And The Beautiful star also confessed to another plastic surgery regret. She feels that Botox and fillers don’t help her because she has such an expressive face. “As far as Botox and fillers, I move my face too much,” summed up Denise.
But the Bold And The Beautiful star also talked about her reputation as a sex symbol. And she doesn’t like the term. However, Denise does feel appreciative that her husband Aaron Phypers enjoys photographing her in her most revealing bikinis.
“I’m grateful that my husband can take a picture of me in a bikini, or whatever,” admitted Richards. “But I don’t see myself as a sex symbol. Not at all.” And as Denise looks back on her career, she reflects on how she soared to fame in movies like Wild Things.
“I don’t think I realized what the magnitude of that was,” explained the former Bond girl about becoming so famous. And she recalls walking by magazine displays and not really recognizing herself on the cover. “I’d walk by seeing myself on magazine covers and stuff and [be] like, Oh, that’s not me. I’m in, like, my jeans, a T-shirt, at the grocery store. I see myself that way,” she explained.
But Denise does believe in the power of beauty. And she believes that confidence “makes a woman sexy.” As a result, Richards feels that all types of bodies can be viewed as sexy. “Anyone that exudes confidence is, to me, so sexy. Beauty really, truly is from within,” added Denise.
