Brooke, like many people, never thought that Quinn was right for Eric. Brooke’s opinion is debatable. But what is not are her feelings about Quinn.

Assume that Hope tells her mother what she witnessed. Brooke will have the ability to talk with Eric and encourage him to leave Quinn and re-pair with Donna.

Lang’s character has promoted reconciliation between Donna and Eric in the past. More recently, Brooke used Quinn’s banishment from the mansion as an opportunity to push Donna as the remedy for Eric’s problems.

Alternatively, Brooke could use what she learns to humiliate Quinn. She could ensure that Quinn becomes aware of Eric’s non-pickleball games.

Introducing Hope into this conflict is likely part of a cascading reveal. Unless Eric decides to come clean to his wife, she will learn what is going on in an unstructured way.

Brooke would want to facilitate Eric divorcing Quinn so he can be with Donna. That is more likely if Quinn is manipulated into pursuing that outcome, after being intentionally shocked and provoked.

Eric and Quinn did fall in love. They cared about each other for many years, including during challenging periods. But the pairing of these characters appears to be ending on B&B.
