In the middle of all this waffling on Carter’s part is his true love (this week) Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer). She is pleading with him not to get together with Paris but the more she pushes the more Carter pushes back. Sound familiar?

Carter wants Quinn but she is taken by his boss and good friend Eric Forrester (John McCook). He learned his lesson the first time he had an affair with Quinn. Smart Carter doesn’t want to get burned again, nor does his hand slaps a second time.

So he’s willing to commit to the first warm body that flings herself his way. Whiny Carter wants kids and a family he rants to Quinn. He is tired of being the bridesmaid while everyone else gets to be the bride. Wah wah.

What Happens Next In LA?

According to our insider, Carter proposes to Paris and she says yes. But that’s not the most catastrophic thing to come of this ill-fated union. Instead, the coupling somehow outs Donna Logan’s (Jennifer Gareis) affair with her honey bear Eric. Despite being pleased as punch with Donna’s “pickleball therapy” Eric has been firm that he is a married man. Of course, he is, who wouldn’t want the milk and the cow to boot?

The outing of Deric is a twist no one saw coming least of all poor Carter. What happens when Quinn is finally free to be with her hunky six-pack? Let’s just say the ish hits the fan and there are more potential twists and turns to this game-changer than we can spill at the moment.
