B&B Alum Kim Matula New Hallmark Movie, What We Know!

Hallmark Channel spoilers and updates tease that they are continuing the Christmas spirit with several movies lined up for this year already. Now, The Bold and the Beautiful alum Kim Matula who played Hope Logan is joining one of the NEtwork’s upcoming Christmas movies called the Ghost of Christmas Always.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – The Filming For Ghost of Christmas Always Has Started

The filming for this project began on March 1 in West Hartford. A spokesperson for the city, Renee McCue had noted that the forthcoming Hallmark project was filming on 34 Foxcroft Road in West Hartford.

This new film will provide a take on the classic, A Christmas Carol and is being directed by Rich Newey. The film tells the story of Katherine Marley, a ghost who is spending her afterlife working for the Department of Restoring Christmas Spirit as a Ghost of Christmas Present. Marley’s job is to visit earth every Christmas to help a soul rekindle its love of Christmas. When she is assigned to help a man named Peter, Marley cannot figure out why his Christmas spirit needs help. What Marley does discover is that she and Peter just might be fated for each other.

Hallmark Channel Updates – Kim Matula’s Role Is Not Currently Known

Matula’s role is not yet revealed but we are happy to report that she is a part of the cast which will also include; Reginald VelJohnson, Ian Harding, Lori Tan Chinn, Leo James Davis, Christopher Innvar, Austin Schoenfeld, Anna Clare Kerr and more.

The production companies attached to the project are; Factory Underground and Synthetic Cinema International. Ghost of Christmas Always has been in post=production since May of this year. It is set to be distributed by Hallmark.

Matula’s latest work includes roles in; The Resident, The Sex Lives of College Girls, American Crime Story, LA to Vegas, 9-1-1: Lone Star, Fighting with my Family and more.
