The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) has no love lost for undead Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters). Will she be the one to figure out if Diane is pulling a con? Diane swears she is reformed with the help of a mystery therapist. Is Red about to go looking for this shrink and if so, put the screws to them?

Diane told the Abbott family today that she is a new woman. She had the help of a shrink who counseled her for six years she told the gobsmacked family. She claims that the therapist helped her to see the error of her ways and turned her life around. Understandably the family had lots of questions, like who is this person, do they know what you’ve done, can we contact them, etc? Obviously it is only a matter of time before the hunt is on for Diane’s helper.

Red was with Jack when he discovered Diane so for her this journey is personal. Today Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) grilled Diane for what seemed like an eternity–is Diane telling the truth about this mysterious psychologist?

Diane is very savvy so it can be assumed she has a real therapist or has a fake one in place if someone should go looking for them.

Is Diane Lying?

The chances are that Diane really did see someone, and it appears that someone could pop up to play a role in Diane’s story. After all, soaps don’t usually spend time spinning tales that go nowhere. So there should be a payoff at some point. It is likely that Phyllis will act like a rabid dog not resting until she gets to the bottom of Diane’s story.

And yet there is doctor-patient confidentiality in play so how will Red get the doc to spill? Oh, she has her ways! Long time Y&R fans will remember that time she got up close and personal with a shrink and it was all kinds of warped. Will Phyllis tread down this road again?
