General Hospital (GH) spoilers and rumors tease that Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) might have a serious illness that will force the truth from Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright)! Carly knows that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is Willow’s birth mother and she may be the only viable donor who can save Willow’s life in a future episode of GH!

General Hospital Spoilers – Willow Tait Needs Bone Marrow, She Has Leukemia

Willow collapses again at work, but this time it’s not from too little sleep and food; Head Nurse Epiphany Johnson (Sonya Eddy) finds her this time and she’s pale and clammy. Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) is called, and it’s decided that Willow needs some medical tests because she’s extremely weak and still unconscious on an IV. Naturally, Michael signs off on the paperwork as her emergency contact, which they took care of right after Harmony Miller’s (Inga Cadranel) death; he’s very worried.

Michael, nearly beside himself, is soon joined by his grandmother, Nurse Bobbie Spencer (Jacklyn Zeman) and his mother Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) after Bobbie calls her. Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) is at the Quartermaine mansion where Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is babysitting him, and working from home.

General Hospital Updates – An Exhaustive Panel Of Blood Tests Are Taken And A Spinal Tap Is Done

An exhaustive panel of blood tests and a spinal tap are done, and MRIs and ultrasounds are performed once Willow is stable. There’s no getting out of it, she was passed out for too long and Michael signed off on all the tests and she’s assured Drew is with Wiley. Carly starts to worry about the secret she’s keeping and Drew gives her a call – he hates to say he told her so but he told her so. Willow should have been told Nina is her birth mother in case something like this happened, and let her decide how to handle it! She could have kept it between her and Willow and left Michael out of the loop but that wouldn’t have been right either – in Drew’s opinion!

General Hospital Spoilers – The Results Are Back And Michael Corinthos Is Devastated!

Soon, the medical tests come back and the diagnosis is devastating – Willow has leukemia and needs a bone marrow transplant; Michael is devastated, and Willow is scared! A search must be done for a donor as soon as possible, and Michael and Carly both understand the seriousness of the situation! They both remember the dire situation of Danny Morgan (Zakary Risinger) as a baby; he had leukemia and needed a bone marrow transplant!

No one who had been tested was a bone marrow match except Franco Baldwin (Roger Howarth) but he couldn’t donate because of a brain tumor, and the possibility of cancer remained. Finally, Derek Wells (William DeVry) had himself tested, feeling guilty for not running a donor search story and he matched, revealing he was really Julian Jerome!

Carly Corinthos Must Reveal What She Knows To Save Willow Tait’s Life

Carly is forced to reveal what she knows to Michael and an increasingly failing Willow, and explains she didn’t tell them out of fear for Wiley. Wiley is not even a consideration to undergo a usually painful procedure to even be tested; Carly is forced to eat crow and reveal the truth.

What’s even worse, now she has to reveal the truth to Nina and beg her to be tested as a donor, she knows she won’t otherwise! She only hopes that General Hospital’s lab keeps copies, otherwise she has nothing to plead her case to Nina with-she shredded the original DNA test results!
