Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) will kiss and make up in an upcoming DOOL episode!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Sarah Horton Was Devastated All Over Again By The Lie

Xander had made a huge mistake by not telling the truth about Sarah’s dead baby Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton (Emma, Miller, and Kate Kamienski) when she got her memory back. He and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) had switched baby Mickey with baby Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) in the nursery with the help of a cooperating doctor on the take. Xander had wanted to spare Sarah the pain after the car Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) had crashed and Adrienne died, with Sarah in labor in the crash-Xander delivered the baby.

For several months the lie was perpetuated until “Mickey” was around six months old only for the truth to come out that she was really Rachel. Sarah had been so devastated she fled to Paris with the baby, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) tracked her down and retrieved Rachel while Xander retrieved Sarah.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Xander Cook Had Told Sarah Horton That Eric Brady Had The Baby On Vacation

Viewers will remember that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was Mickey’s birth father, and Xander had told Sarah when she asked after Mickey that Eric had her with him on vacation! He was blindsided and had to tell her something, not expecting that when she got her memory back she wouldn’t remember Mickey died and she had Rachel! Needless to say, by the time she tracked Eric down after Xander asked him to cooperate with his lie, he wouldn’t and tried to break the news gently as possible. She had already been told the truth by Eric and was so devastated she wouldn’t have anything to do with Xander; it was so painful she couldn’t even return home. Later, Eric had talked to her about the situation again and she came to an understanding Xander came from a good place but handled it wrong!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Xander Cook Asks Sarah Horton To Visit Mackenzie Horton’s Grave

Xander asks Sarah to visit baby Mackenzie’s grave with him and suggests it may be a good way to start her grieving process, not wanting her to go alone. He hopes to gently lead her into a place of healing, realizing he has only been lengthening the process by what he had been doing. Xander wants her to heal, not to hurt, and thinks perhaps visiting the baby’s grave will start bringing closure for Sarah since she had not remembered when the truth came out.

Sarah realizes that she needs to relieve the pain in order to heal and that she needs to get a dose of the reality of the situation. So, finally, after a little prodding on Xander’s part, she agrees to go with him to the cemetery.

Sarah Horton Sees Xander Cook Has Been Visiting And Putting Flowers On The Grave

When Xander and Sarah reach the baby’s grave, she notices the fresh flowers and he reveals he has been going to honor not only the baby’s memory but the memory of them. Sarah perhaps starts to remember the little family they had been as well when she sees the flowers.

Sarah realizes that Xander too grieved the baby and that he really cares and never really turned his back on her. The graveside visitation also triggers something in Sarah’s mind in addition to her heart, and she comes back to herself! She remembers everything and for Xander, it’s one of those “pinch me” too good to be true moments, and they reconcile!
