There is another person who has held a great amount of power now for many years but isn’t a DiMera. : Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) is on board at DiMera but he has had so much say so in the company that he has been the one to choose the CEO of DiMera. There have been many times that Shin’s approval was needed for almost everything that happens at the company.

Kristen occasionally decides that she wants to run DiMera Enterprises but it usually doesn’t last for long as other things gain her interest. But it seems very likely that if Kristen has plans for the company’s future, Shin might be an obstacle. Perhaps she has enlisted Jake to help her find a way to get Li out of the company. The newfound romance that seems to be brewing between Gabi and Li might play directly into Kristen’s plans. But Jake may not be an easy sell if Kristen wants him to betray Gabi down the road.
