Hallmark Channel spoilers and updates tease that the network’s new romance is centered on a lead character with Down Syndrome. The network has been trying to diversify its movies and shows and this is another step in the right direction. The new romance, Color My World With Love will follow an artist, who has Down Syndrome, as she creates beautiful works of art. Her mother and grandmother support her and she has always wanted to find love and now she does.
Kendall, our artist, is very happy and when she decides to take a cooking class, she meets a man named Brad. Kendall’s mother, Emma, has tried to protect her daughter for 22 years and she isn’t sure about what to think about the budding relationship between her daughter and Brad. Their relationship starts moving really quickly and Emma isn’t sure that she approves.
Emma knows that there will be heartache in Kendall’s life and she wants to help her get through it. She wants to slow down the relationship, but Emma also needs to live her own life. Emma needs to find love for herself too. This is when her friend Nic steps in to help.
The romance in this film builds pretty quickly and Lily Moore told fans, “Everyone has a dream to fall in love and get married one day, even people with disabilities. I hope viewers take away that Color My World With Love is about painting your own story through your emotions and that we all have endless possibilities.”
This movie features Orly Adelson, Jonathan Eskenas, and Kimberley Bradly as the executive producers. Charles Cooper is the producer and Peter Benson is the director. The movie will air later in the year and the network is really excited about the premiere. They feel that by branching out with this kind of diversity, fans will love it and appreciate it.
