General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that James Patrick Stuart promising a full Port Charles comeback sometime soon.

General Hospital Spoilers – Valentin Cassadine Has Been Missing

First, Valentin Cassadine was stuffed into a car trunk thanks to his sociopath father, Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy), having him chloroformed and kidnapped before he could tell Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) the truth about Bailey Louise.

Then we didn’t see him for nearly two weeks until Anna rescued him. He then lingered in the hospital and we can assume he has been discharged by now, but he was notably missing from the crew in Switzerland who brought down Peter August (Wes Ramsey). After all this time, Valentin should have been a part of that storyline, but somehow Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) were thrown in instead.

It’s like the kiss he shared with Anna on New Year’s Eve to which there was no real follow-up to a popular and developing romance.

General Hospital Updates – Valentin Cassadine Will Be Back

We can just assume that Valentin has been recovering while also taking care of Charlotte while actor James Patrick Stuart films his new series. In December, it was announced that Stuart had landed a role on the new Disney Channel and Disney + series “Meet the Mayhems” about a family of supervillains hiding from other villains in an average Texas town. Stuart plays the dad in the family.

While we can’t wait to see Stuart’s brand of comedy playing someone new, we have had to sacrifice our Valentin Cassadine time to make this series happen.

But now James Patrick Stuart assures us we will soon see Valentin again in full force and we can’t wait. He also announced that his series has a brand-new name.

“Currently filming the 8th episode of the new Disney+ comedy “Villains of ValleyView” (previously “Meet the Mayhem’s.”) Missing GH very much and happy to report Valentin will be back in March.”

Does that mean Anna and Valentin can pick up where they left off as the new year began? Vanna fans can’t wait to see them together again because this is one romance that has oodles of potential on a soap that’s been playing the couple shuffle while chemistry testing for the last year.
