The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and updates tease that Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) never thought Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) would challenge his marriage. But the information she readily embraced led her to tell the man she still loves that Brooke Logan Forrester (Katherine Kelly Lang) is a cheater.

In a well-crafted scenario, Taylor was provided with security camera footage by her children. However, the lead Douglas Forrester (Henry Samiri) offered represents flawed intel.

While Douglas told the truth about his grandmother and accurately recalled seeing Deacon Sharpe’s (Sean Kanan) face on New Year’s Eve, Brooke is not as guilty as Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), Thomas Atkinson (Matthew Atkinson), and Taylor mutually concluded.

Meanwhile, over at the cliff house, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) were chatting about Brooke’s troubles. Deacon came by after visiting Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) at her hotel suite, where he thankfully gave her nothing of value.

Deacon overheard the daughter he had with Brooke and his son-in-law talking about the now-infamous kiss. They later discussed Brooke’s intention to tell Ridge the whole truth, with Deacon’s reaction shot highlighting the scene.

Hope mentioned that she did not think Steffy wanted to revisit the overdone Logan versus Forrester wars. But Steffy does not see her current efforts as drama-driven. Instead, she feels her dad’s dignity must be defended.

The Bold And The Beautiful Updates – Ridge Forrester Confused But Determined

Ridge has been dealing as best he can with Brooke’s latest seeming fall off the wagon. As the fans know, Brooke did not slip up. Sheila supplied her with alcohol under the guise of a non-alcoholic champagne bottle.

Taylor’s cryptic comments caused Ridge to misunderstand her intention. He thought she heard about Brooke’s sobriety break. As their cliff house conversation unfolded, Taylor made it clear to Ridge that she did not know about Brooke’s drinking and wanted to tell him that his wife had been with Deacon.

That name, like Bill Spencer’s (Don Diamont), riles Ridge. In this instance, it leads to him learning about Deacon’s overnight stay in the mansion and what is implied by it.

Brooke Logan Forrester Targeted By Foes

Taylor lost her family to Brooke. Allen’s character has learned to deal with history and has handed renewed interactions with Brooke in a controlled, classy manner. But this tell to Ridge breaks that mini streak.

Steffy and Thomas have never gotten over their father breaking their family to be with Brooke. They hold Lang’s character responsible and feel that their dad remains manipulated by her.

It is not surprising that Steffy would speak to Brooke as she did at the mansion when confronting her. It is not surprising that Ridge demands answers from Brooke as well. But the only responses she can offer are not enough to satisfy Ridge’s expectations of what their marriage vows mean to him and what he believed they meant to her.
