Viewers of The Young and The Restless know that Sally and Chelsea have been rivals in more than one arena – in clothing design, and over Adam Newman! Viewers of The Young and The Restless also will recall that Adam has told Chelsea more than one time that there is no hope for a remarriage – there is too much water under the bridge to make that work. Adam has told Chelsea they will work together at Newman Media, and certainly co-parent their young son Connor Newman (Judah Mackey) together as planned. Chelsea knows that and yet she still views her co-worker Sally, with whom she is supposed to be working as a team, as infringing on her territory with Adam! So when she sees Adam and Sally in Adam’s office together on New Year’s Eve, sitting close together on a couch, she’ll assume the worst, and she’ll flip!

The Young And The Restless Updates – It’s Not What She Thinks

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see that it’s not what Chelsea thinks, not at all. Sally and Adam are watching a movie together on a laptop, so they have to sit close together to watch it! Sally went to the trouble of decorating Adam’s office for every holiday except for New Year’s Eve, and there was a method to her madness! Adam hadn’t wanted to celebrate New Year’s Eve and so she didn’t decorate for it, and her efforts to celebrate but not celebrate New Year’s Eve make him laugh! Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Sally tell Adam to hurry up and not celebrate that particular holiday with her because the clock is winding down! She’s got a whole bunch of Hitchcock movies they can watch and they settle on “North By Northwest!”

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman And Sally Spectra “Uncelebrated” New Year’s Eve

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Adam and Sally “uncelebrated” New Year’s Eve by watching Alfred Hitchcock’s “North by Northwest” having chosen it because it has fashioned in it. Adam kids around with Sally, telling her she interrupts his family stuff and how the office, a cold and sterile venue, is so conducive to romance! Viewers of The Young and The Restless can tell Adam’s had a little bit to drink and is getting silly, and Sally’s getting silly right along with her! They pause to refresh their drinks and talk about how the characters in the movie are so stylish for the time that the movie was produced. Adam and Sally continue their “uncelebration” together and have a good time, unaware that the jealous Chelsea is close by and actively snooping!

Chelsea Lawson Assumes The Worst!

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will see Adam asking Sally why they have to sit so close together, which of course is so they can see the movie better. Sally gives Adam the option of moving away from her a little further but he declines and says he likes it there where he is, so from the back, they look like they’re cuddling. Of course, as viewers of The Young and The Restless can guess, that’s when Chelsea pokes her head in, not having heard any of their conversations and assuming the worst! Chelsea turns around goes home, and arrives there livid – and starts to drink!
