General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Dr. Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is doing her best to get her life back to normal. Her best friend, Brad Cooper (Perry Shen) is out on parole but Britt may soon find after everything that she has been through, that she and Brad don’t have as much in common as they used to. Britt and Brad became fast friends, but things weren’t as complicated as they are now and Britt has changed quite a bit. The death of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) has hit Britt hard and Brad may not understand just how deep Britt’s pain lies.

Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) is one person who will understand what Britt is going through. Britt feels bad because was only in danger because he agreed to help Britt rescue her mother, Dr. Leisl O’Brecht (Kathleen Gati) from Peter August (Wes Ramsey). But the truth is, Jason would likely have gone anyway as soon as he found out that Drew was still alive and also Peter’s captive. And then Drew came home, while Jason, unfortunately, did not. Drew and Jason weren’t always that close, but they were twins, and Jason’s death weighs on Drew as it does on Britt!

Drew knows that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) is thrilled to have him back. But she misses Jason too. Monica has lost many family members over the years so looks for Drew to try and honor his family as much as he can. But he also needs to get back to his own life. He’s been gone for a couple of years and life in Port Charles went on. Perhaps Drew can share his feelings with the one person who was there when Jason died. So look for Drew and Britt to connect!

The truth is that perhaps Drew and Britt are the only people who understand the pain that they are both going through. They could bond over their mutual pain and desire to move on while still honoring Jason’s memory. Perhaps they might even find romance!
