Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) will propose marriage to Gwen Rizchech (Emily O’Brien) in an upcoming episode of Days of Our Lives! Gwen will be pleased but shocked and will panic as she knows she must keep him from finding Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey)!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Romantic New Year’s Eve Surprise?

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that Gwen panicked when she and Xander ran into Rex Brady, (Kyle Lowder) which was something she was desperately trying to avoid in a recent episode of Days of Our Lives! She knew that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) had impersonated Sarah when she dumped Xander and ran to Rex the night before Xander and Sarah would have married. Gwen also knows that Kristen drugged Sarah and shipped her to a Greek island that the DiMeras own because that was what Kristen used to blackmail her into helping her escape being sent back to Statesville prison, threatening to tell Xander what really happened if Gwen refused to comply.

The fear that Xander would dump her like a hot potato if he found Sarah is what is panicking Gwen, although who knows if Sarah is even alive, let alone in her right mind? Kristen injected her with the same thing that Gwen injected Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) with, and look how long Abigail was messed up! But Xander will propose marriage to Gwen, perhaps at a romantic New Year’s Eve dinner. Gwen will realize she’s got to keep him from finding the whole truth out about Sarah or she’ll lose him!

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Xander Cook Knows Kristen DiMera Was Behind Sarah Horton’s Dumping Him But Not Her Disappearance

Days of Our Lives viewers will recall that although Xander knows Kristen was behind Sarah’s dumping him because of what Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) told him, he doesn’t know the whole story. Xander has just found out thanks to his and Gwen’s chance encounter with Rex that Sarah didn’t follow through with their reconciliation either and neither Rex nor Xander knows where she is now! It makes no sense to Xander why Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) would continue to receive texts every so often from “Sarah” but it makes even less sense that she lied to her own mother about leaving town with Rex!

It won’t take long to figure out that was Kristen, too, but that still leaves the question in Xander’s mind as to where is Sarah?! Xander will continue to be preoccupied with the mystery of what happened to Sarah even while continuing to romance Gwen! Gwen will have to continue to distract Xander from worries over Sarah if she’s going to keep her man, and she’ll dial-up on the distractions, which usually happen in bed or building Xander up with compliments and reminding him how he’s the only person who’s really stood by him, and she is that for him also, as Days of Our Lives viewers will recall.

Gwen And Xander Cook’s Romance Heats Up, But Abby Newman Could Ruin It All!

Days of Our Lives viewers will see Gwen and Xander’s romance heat up, and their connection to each other deepens in upcoming episodes of Days of Our Lives, in spite of his worries over Sarah and what happened to her. Gwen may try to rush up the marriage vows a little bit, but she won’t want to come on TOO strong or he might wonder why the rush! She’ll deal with her conscience as well, as she knows she’s being selfish by keeping what she knows about Xander’s former flame a secret, but she fears she’ll lose him to Sarah if he finds her! Xander knows he has a good thing going with Gwen, and he might even realize that she, not Sarah, is his true soul mate. After all, Gwen has already stood by him in situations where Sarah may not have.

Gwen loves Xander the way he is, where he fought his temptations and went against his nature to stay a good boy for Sarah! The longer he stays with Gwen, the longer he’ll realize this, and he’ll try to forget Sarah since there is no way to find out where she is. But sister will work against sister once again, even if unintentionally when Abby puts her investigative skills to work to find the missing Sarah and solve the mystery! That will blow Gwen’s whole world apart, and it will be even worse if she finds Sarah after Gwen and Xander marry!
