Counting On Alum Jill Dillard Finds Comfort In Nature

Counting On fans know that Jill Dillard had a very difficult year. After all, her brother Josh made the headlines when he was arrested for possessing and downloading child pornography. He just got found guilty and went off to jail pending his sentencing in April next year. At one stage, it was thought that Jill might have to testify. Well, plenty of people support her and she appreciates that. Plus, she finds comfort in nature.

Counting On Alum Jill Dillard Lost A baby In 2021

Apart from the fact that Josh went on trial, Jill also lost a baby this year. In October, the news came out via her Instagram. At the time, she said that the boys, Sam and Israel “were full of questions and so excited as we talked about the pregnancy and how they would get to be involved along the way and after the baby was born.” However, the little one died, and everyone knows the loss is devastating to any mom.

Counting On alum Jill Dillard also copes with the fact that she and her parents, Jim Bib Duggar and Michelle are estranged. It started falling apart when Derick left the show, claiming Jim Bob and TLC wanted Jill to film after the molestation scandal by Josh emerged. Well, in her darkest days, she turns to her family. On the run-up to her potentially testifying. she shared how her son Sam, helped her choose her earrings. Plus, when she attended the trial she wore necklaces made by her boys. Now, she went for a walk in nature with Sam and her doggie, Fenna, and found comfort there as well.

Jill Dillard took to Instagram on December 10 and shared how she spent the day after her brother’s conviction. She wrote, “🚶‍♀️Got out for a nice walk today with Sam and Fenna (it’s getting up to 70 degrees today!), then it started raining on us on the way back, so we had to rush home because I wasn’t prepared for the rain. haha ☔️.” Then she spoke about where she finds comfort. She added, “🍃So thankful for coffee from friends, walks in nature, food from family and friends, and the many supportive messages and continued prayers. 💞”
