His fans were on board 100 with his statements. One wrote, “Darling, it’s time you had full custody. YESSSS Douglas needs to be with father again…they should resurrect Caroline,” and another posted, “Yes he needs to go back with his dad. Hope has her own child. Liam his. So let Douglas go back with his dad.”

Another fan posted, “Please let Thomas find his own love interest that isn’t already involved with someone else. Yes, Douglas should be back with his dad.”

What Happens Next In LA?

It seems clear from the fan comments that they would like to see the father-son duo of Thomas and Douglas back in each others’ arms, just as in, they are in the picture posted by Atkinson. Will it happen? Will TPTB get the message that Atkinson is sending?

For now, Douglas lives with Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). To make a long story short, Matthew went psycho berserk in the past and Hope was the only mother figure he had. She has been taking care of him since Thomas’ breakdown and an almost fatal attraction to her. Douglas loves his Mommy Hope but he also loves his father as well.
