Hope wants to have a lasting relationship with Deacon but is concerned that Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown) and their fake relationship will interfere. Hope wants to give Deacon a chance to prove that he has changed. Sheila is a wild card in this and Deacon is making a mistake aligning himself with her. Watching Deacon with Sheila makes Hope question whether or not Deacon has truly changed. Although Hope has her doubts, she wants to be trusted to find out the truth. Hope hates being told that she cannot see her father and doesn’t like having her choices questioned.

The Bold And The Beautiful’s Hope believes that Deacon deserves a chance. Hope knows that her mother is the best way to pull this off. Hope will appeal to her mother’s loving nature and remind her of her relationship with Deacon. Brooke claims to hate Deacon but Hope knows she had feelings for him at one time. Will forcing Brooke to reminisce convince her to back off of Hope over Deacon? Hope has to relive her affair with Deacon. Brook has to deal with the guilt and shame but also her feelings for Deacon at the time. This is the first time that Hope has seen things from Brooke’s point of view as well.
