General Hospital Spoilers – How Has Nobody Figured Out Maxie Is Lying?

From the moment Maxie Jones (Kirsten Storms) announced her baby had been kidnapped, the red flags should have been flying. She didn’t want to answer questions, she didn’t want anyone poking around, she went back to work, she went on vacation, she planned a wedding, and just basically walks around town as if she doesn’t have a kidnapped child out there somewhere.

And she doesn’t. She placed her baby in the Quartermaine house and can essentially visit her any time she wants and hardly anyone has found this to be suspicious for months. Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson)found it odd for a few days and then let it go.

If Maxie’s baby was really kidnapped, wouldn’t she be frantic using every resource she had to find this child? But instead, she is blase about it, and not even the man who delivered this baby, Austin Holt (Roger Howarth), and saw how much she loved her has put it all together. How did it take so long for a detective like Chase (Josh Swickard) to begin to suspect something? Brook Lynn (Amanda Setton) doesn’t act like a mother at all, Maxie doesn’t look like a mother in anguish and everyone else in PC looks really, really stupid.

General Hospital Updates – Will This Baby Switch Story Ever Come To An End?

Please let this mean we are nearing the end of yet another General Hospital baby switch, the show’s fallback story for almost every pregnancy. Didn’t we just have the Wiley baby reveal? Will something happen to Sasha’s (Sofia Mattsson) baby next? Will Maxie always give birth on the side of the road?

With Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) starting to figure out something is up with Brook Lynn’s story, Gladys Corbin (Bonnie Burroughs) more suspicious than ever, and Chase knowing Brook Lynn is definitely lying, this story has to blow up soon, right?
