The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Nick will be so preoccupied with Victoria and Ashland that he has been ignoring the signs that he might be losing Phyllis. By the time he realizes the truth, it might be too late.
Nicholas Newman (Joshua Morrow) has been spreading himself thin lately and it might cost him his relationship with Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). Nick has been trying to please his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) by keeping Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) from digging into Ashland Locke’s (Richard Burgi) past. Nick also conducted his own investigation which took him to New Jersey and left Phyllis to spend time with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).
Nick found out that Ashland’s real name is Bobby DeFranco, and he switched identities with a friend who died in an automobile accident. Spoilers say Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) will be angrier at her brother for revealing this information than at her fiancee for his deception. Vicki’s response will distract Nick and he won’t pay attention to obvious signs that Phack is heating up.
Spoilers say that on Friday Nick will catch Jack and Phyllis in a compromising situation. He will be so caught up in his sister’s reaction regarding Austin that warning bells are not going off about Jack and Phyllis. They have each declared their love for the other and continue with risky behavior by being alone together.
Earlier spoilers suggested that Jack and Phyllis might become quite cozy on the trip to Milan. There have been rumors they could kiss or perhaps go even further. The writers seem to be teasing the viewers but at some point, Nick’s eyes will open to the truth.
