The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease Nick and his daughter’s mother appear to be at a stalemate in their relationship. At the same time, it looks like Phyllis is beginning to fall for her ex-husband all over again. The trip down memory lane will remind fans why this duo is important.
Y&R spoilers say a stand-alone episode will be aired during the week of September 20-24, which will feature Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis Newman (Michelle Stafford). For those not familiar with the term, it means the entire show will revolve around the duo who have married over 20 years ago. This episode might be a teaser to seek viewer reaction regarding the couple falling in love again.
The birth of Summer Newman (Hunter King) is a fan favorite that might be one of the featured moments. The baby was delivered by Jack when he and Phyllis ended up stuck in an elevator. When it was later revealed that Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was the father of Summer Jack was heartbroken. This episode was last shown during the flashback scenes that were featured during the pandemic.
Jack admitted that he never got over Phyllis and said he still loved her. She did not know how to respond and worst of all Nick Newman (Josh Morrow) was not told. There will probably be scenes in the stand-alone episode that will revisit the history of all three.
Until now viewers had no reason to even suspect that Jack was still hung up on “Red.” Phack lovers will enjoy watching scenes that feature Peter Bergman and Michelle Stafford. The nostalgia factor should please Y&R fans who enjoy Jack and Phyllis together.
