General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is on a mission. After receiving a phone call begging for help, Sam is convinced that Drew Cain (Cameron Matheson) is not only still alive, but that he needs her help. Sam has begun to look into Drew’s plane crash for clues to his current whereabouts. Assisting her is Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zomprogna) as well as Anna DeVane (Finola Hughes). While they are just beginning their investigation, it won’t be long until Drew is reunited with his family!

General Hospital Spoilers – Monica Quartermaine Will Be Thrilled To Learn That Drew Cain Is Alive!

Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) and Drew got quite close when he was last in Port Charles. Drew isn’t Monica’s son biologically but since her late husband, Alan Quartermaine (Stuart Damon) was Drew’s father, Monica still treated Drew as family. When Drew disappeared and was presumed dead in the plane crash, Monica took the news hard. If Sam is able to bring Drew home, Monica will be ecstatic to have another chance!

Sam and Drew were once married when he believed that he was Jason Morgan (Steve Burton). That union produced a little girl, Scout Cain (Ella Ramacieri). Scout is too young to remember her father, but Sam has tried to keep Drew alive for the little girl by telling her stories about her father. But nothing is the same as meeting Drew in person, so Sam wants nothing more but to introduce the little girl to her father. Sam is highly motivated to bring Drew back home!

Although Sam and Drew broke up long before Drew disappeared, she may still have a feeling for him. They fell in love when she believed he was Jason but when the real Jason turned up alive, Sam eventually reconciled with Jason. Drew was hurt but eventually moved on. Jason and Sam also broke up, so it’s possible Sam still has romantic feelings for Drew. Seeing Drew alive and well may just bring all of those old feelings back. A romance between Sam and Drew may certainly be in the offing!
