Her fans recall that Steffy was caught in Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) web, which meant that the Steam versus Lope loop was never-ending.

John Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) changed all that. His appearance in Steffy’s life signaled to her and the audience that Sinn was the future. Now, this family has its first child.

Consider the contrast of Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) being in the slammer and Finn being in the pool while Steffy gave birth. Yes, Liam didn’t target Vincent Walker (Joe LoCicero) and that deceased character did frame, Liam. Even still, this time away should serve to readjust Liam’s view of the world.

Sinn fans recall that Liam tore into Finn on more than one occasion. He questioned the doctor’s medical ethics. Novlan’s character resented the affront while admitting that he had developed feelings for Steffy.

Now, months later, who has been revealed as having a misguided sense of honor? Yes, Liam.

Steffy felt something magical when she first laid eyes on Finn. She and the audience knew that he was her next great love, as evidenced by the special manner in which B&B presented their introductory scene.

Finn not only cared for Steffy, he fell in love with her. The feeling was mutual, which disrupted Liam’s thought process. He was used to having Steffy and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) choose from.

Fans who were impatiently waiting for TPTB to break the Steffy, Liam, and Hope triangle cheered when Finn set new ground rules that Clifton’s character was to abide by at the cliff house and elsewhere.

And Baby Makes Three

Baby Finn extends the Sinn family to three and appears to cement Steffy and Finn as a couple for the near-term future.

Kelly Spencer (Avalon and Colette Gray) actually makes the Sinn family four. But she’s Liam’s child and is a main part of Steam’s family.

It was interesting that Liam asked Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) to look out for Beth Spencer (Madeline Valdez and River Davidson) and Hope. He didn’t ask to see Finn in the prison visitor’s room and then request help with Kelly while his time behind bars plays out.

Steffy’s storyline would be vastly different if a new man hadn’t come into her life last year. He did, which allowed her and Finn to win.
