Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that Arianne Zucker, who portrays the role of Nicole Brady, is now engaged to Shawn Christian, who used to be part of the cast as Daniel Jonas. The latter popped the question during Father’s Day while they were on a boat cruise.

Zucker took to social media to share the good news. The actress posted a slideshow of their amazing proposal story.

The caption started with, “So, words can’t describe how happy I was this day!”

“@shawnchristian completely surprised me on Father’s Day! I had no idea! This man has an unbelievably beautiful heart and he always seems to know how to make me feel so wonderful! I am blessed to join him on this next adventure.” Zucker shared.

In the slideshow, fans can see the actress’s reaction when Christian popped the question. She looked thrilled when Christian showed her the engagement ring and she kissed him after accepting his proposal.

Christian shared the same slideshow on his Instagram account. He announced that he’ll soon be embarking on a “new soul-inspiring adventure” after Zucker answered yes to his proposal. He described the boat cruise proposal as a “magical blessing.”

He described Zucker as a wonderful woman who brings out the best in him as a person, parent, and partner. He’s excited to spend the rest of his life with her as they go on soul-inspiring adventures together.

In upcoming scenes, Zucker’s character, Nicole Brady is set to face some major drama once Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) returns to Salem after an extended stay in Africa for his missionary work. Eric will notice that something’s different with Nicole.

Nicole will be guilt-stricken because she slept with the man Eric hates the most, Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Will she tell Eric the truth or will he find out from his twin sister about his wife’s steamy secret? Although Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) has no solid proof of Nicole’s indiscretion, she may still tell Eric about her suspicions. It’s a ticking time bomb that may spell the end of Eric and Nicole’s marriage.

Vaughn has exited the soap and right after his character married Nicole. The actor revealed that he came back for an arc, which may have something to do with Eric and Nicole’s split.
