Ben Weston is grieving the loss of Ciara’s memory as much as she is loving throwing her amnesia in his face. Instead of trying to get her memories of their great love back, she wants to marry another guy.

First things first, as in divorce. But Ben refuses to sign the paperwork as he knows the Ciara that still loves him is in there somewhere, buried beneath a tumble of brunette tresses.

Ciara Brady did once love Ben and even married him. But ever since she got a nasty case of amnesia she is repulsed at the sight of him. How could she have fallen in love with and married a serial killer? What’s worse, how could she accept a lug nut as an engagement ring?

At this time Ciara is back home and demanding that Ben divorce her. When he refuses, she moves for an annulment, all in order to marry Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson). She and Theo are childhood besties, and Ben believes this is just a pity marriage about to happen.

Ben’s portrayer spoke to Soap Opera Digest about what happens next. “Ben is shocked and it feels like it’s the end for him,” he says. Adding insult to injury, Ciara chooses a wedding date that has special significance.

It Seems Ciara Intends To Marry Her Second Husband On The Exact Date She Married Her First Hubs. Awkward!

Longtime fans will remember that Ciara’s parents did this exact same thing. According to Wilson, “Bo and Hope were their own thing and their own lane and they’re the biggest ever, so we’re not trying to fill their shoes.”

He goes on to note that it is awesome how the show is revisiting history. “I just like how they pay homage to the history of the show. That they did a nod to it is pretty cool.”
