The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that there could be another CBS sister soap crossover this summer and it’s a doozy. Our inside source at CBS is hearing rumblings about a possible crossover by none other than The Bold and the Beautiful’s Stallion, aka Dollar Bill Spencer (Don Diamont).

If this is the case will he have anything to do with Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) who currently has crossed over from B&B herself?

Y&R and B&B are both soaps on the CBS network, created by the Bell family. As such, characters from each show have crossed over to do business, private and personal, with characters from the other show.

Right now Sally Spectra is in Genoa City, Wisconsin after having been run out of LA due to some nasty and felonious behavior.

At the moment Sally is simply spinning her wheels. There is no other way to say it, her story has stalled, and she is being used to agitate other plot points. Does this mean her future is limited and she could be returning to B&B?

Why Is Sally Spectra In Genoa City, Wisconsin?

Could this be the reason Bill Spencer is traipsing over to Genoa City, to bring Sally back to LA for some unknown reason? That would be rich given the fact that no one much likes Sally after she hoodwinked Bill’s dimwitted son Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) into believing she was dying and then kidnapping his girlfriend.

But there is always a twist in the road on soaps, and anything is possible.

The Young And The Restless Updates – What Happens Next In The CBS Soap Universe?

According to our source, the potential Bill crossover occurs this summer. If Bill is not coming for Sally, there are plenty of other reasons for him to visit. He is a major power player and the power players in Genoa City are at war—maybe he wants to pull a hostile takeover?

If he is interested in Jabot Cosmetics he might be able to outsmart Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) who is rumored to be trying to take down the firm. Or maybe he will align himself with Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman)?

At this point, the crossover has not been confirmed but given Bill’s standing and status, there are plenty of reasons why he would leave LA and venture east.
