In the May sweeps preview, head writer Bradley Bell teased that we would see a shift in the relationship between Thomas and Liam. So, this must be what he was referring to. Liam doesn’t want Thomas to be Hope’s new lover. But he does need someone to take care of Hope and the children. He wants to be sure that Hope can move forward because she’s not coping very well so far.
