Reese Witherspoon Comments On Daughter Ava Phillippe’s Rare Instagram Photo

Reese Witherspoon’s daughter, Ava Phillippe, and her boyfriend took a recent trip to Austin, Texas, and Ava shared a rare cute picture of her and her beau on her Instagram account, and mom Reese approves.

Ava Phillippe Vacations With Her Boyfriend

On Monday, Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe’s 21-year-old daughter shared on Instagram a rare photo of her and her boyfriend, Owen Mahoney.

Both looked happy in the selfie, with water, trees, and buildings in the background. The picture was taken at the Congress Avenue Bridge in Austin, Texas, a spot known for its nightly bat flights.

“The bats were feeling shy…so here’s a pic of us instead 🦇,” Ava captioned the post.

Reese Witherspoon jumped on the comments with Ava’s fans to share her thoughts on the picture, “😍 These two.”

Ava has been dating fellow UC Berkeley student Owen Mahoney since at least 2019 when she first shared pictures of the couple in a since-deleted tweet. Ava has always made the list of celebrity babies who like their parents/parents and fans remarked on her resemblance to her “Legally Blonde” star mother.

But not just Ava’s close resemblance to her superstar mother that got fans thrilling, but the fact that Mahoney shares a resemblance to Ava’s dad. One fan said that she thought it was a throwback picture of her parents from when they were younger.

“Totally Reese and Ryan!” a fan wrote. Someone else wrote that the picture looks just like Ava’s “mom and dad”

In addition to the comparison comments, a lot of red hearts decorated the 21-year-old’s comments section.

Ava Phillippe’s Relationship With Mom Reese Witherspoon

Ava is one of three children that Reese Witherspoon has. Reese shares Ava and Deacon, 17, with Ryan, and Tennessee, 8, with husband Jim Toth. Ava would often twin with her mom in pictures.

Ava shared a sweet Mother’s Day tribute to her famous mother in May writing,

“To my best friend, role model, cheerleader, confidante, and so much more: Happy Mother’s Day! 💐💕” she wrote on Instagram, sharing a picture of her mom, Reese Witherspoon, holding up a “Best Mom” sign.

2020’s Mother’s Day saw Ava sharing a picture she took with her mother in front of beautiful pink and white flowers.

“Happy mother’s day to my first best friend,” she wrote at the time. “Thank you for your everyday commitment to raising and loving us to the best of your ability. I am so happy to learn from and be loved by you.”
