Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates tease that next week, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) gets counseling. She will talk to Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) about something that she’s struggling with, which is most likely Chanel Dupree (Precious Way). Head writer Ron Carlivati teased during an interview that Allie is in denial of her feelings for Chanel.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Old Friends Share An Unexpected Kiss

DOOL spoilers reveal that Allie and Chanel never expected to run into each other in Salem. In the past, they both partied hard in London and hit all the nightclubs. That was before Allie was raped by Charlie Dale (Mike Manning). Allie hasn’t revealed all the details to Chanel. She just stated that things fell apart when Chanel left and now she is a mother to a little boy.

Just when Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) was going to approach Allie, Chanel gave her old friend an unexpected kiss. It was something that Allie never expected and she wasn’t sure what to think about it. Chanel blew it off as no big deal, but it’s clear she feels deeply for Allie.

Chanel Dupree’s Feelings

Chanel has opened up separately to both Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) about kissing Allie. Eli could tell how hurt Chanel was over Allie’s reaction to the kiss. He also knew that she was trying to cover up her sadness. As for her chat with Lani, Chanel was encouraged to talk to Allie about how she really feels.

Days Of Our Lives Updates – Allie Horton In Denial

Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Allie has assured Tripp that there is nothing romantic going on with Chanel. However, Carlivati told Soap Opera Digest that Allie might be in denial about her feelings for Chanel.

“Tripp sees the dynamic between Chanel and Allie but is trying to be a menschy guy and take Allie at her word that she’s interested in pursuing something with him, not Chanel. But I think Allie may be a little bit in denial of what her feelings truly are for Chanel and maybe she was too quick to brush it under the rug.”

Confusion And Counseling

Something compels Allie to get counseling from Marlena during the week of June 7. She is probably confused about if she has any feelings for Chanel and if so, what that means for their friendship. She is also interested in Tripp, so that makes the situation even more complicated.

After talking about her feelings and confusion with Marlena, Allie might get some clarity. It seems that Allie might decide to explore a romance with Chanel just to see where it goes, if anywhere. However, where does this leave Tripp? It sounds like the big love triangle storyline is about to take off.
