Days of Our Lives John Black (Drake Hogestyn) had to watch Shawn marry Jan last year when she swore she had killed Belle Black (Martha Madison). Shawn knows the lengths that Jan will go through to keep Shawn and Belle apart. After all, Jan almost blew up a bunch of schoolmates just to get rid of Belle.

Now that she has threatened Belle’s life over Shawn again, John has no idea what is going to happen and he ‘s scared. John has no idea what Jan might do to his daughter if she gets that chance again. John also is afraid for Shawn’s life as well. Jan has already murdered Charlie and could easily kill again. John is afraid that Shawn or Belle might not survive.

Shawn plans to get the truth out of Jan by pretending to want to be with her. Will Jan believe that Shawn wants to leave Belle?
