The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers and updates tease that Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is in love with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Her choice to take that leap was measured, with Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) initially choosing to be an observer.

However, the passage of soapy time allowed Lily to recognize that Victoria means business. She’s intent on winning Billy back.

It’s so obvious that Victoria wants to use her brother’s latest problem as a weapon. Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is accused of trying to poison Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). So, Heinle’s character has proposed a joint venture.

Choosing Chance Com is so transparent. Of all the companies in Wisconsin, the United States, or the world, Victoria wants to couple with the one Billy and Lily just so happen to be heading? Right.

Billy is totally fine with Victoria’s plan because he wants to attack Adam. His short-sighted response is already creating a strain in his relationship with Lily.

Billy Abbot Can’t See Tomorrow

Billy sees Adam’s dark stain covering all of his yesterday’s. But what happened to Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) is based on circumstantial evidence.

Y&R’s choice to leave that legendary storyline open remains interesting and hopefully will be conclusively revisited at some point. In the meantime, Billy and even Grossman’s character believe that Adam accidentally hit Delia.

Adam continues to truthfully insist that he didn’t initially know he hit Delia, while also acknowledging that he didn’t report finding her clothing in his wheel well. Billy has chosen to focus on that part of the past for years. He can’t see tomorrow but remains painfully blinded by Adam’s perceived role in Delia’s death.

Young And The Restless Updates – Victoria Newman Has Won Before

Victoria, like Billy, is choosing to cherry-pick history. She doesn’t want to recall the many dysfunctional moments when Villy was together. Victoria also doesn’t want to admit that she and Billy split badly on a number of occasions, including the most recent when she was coldly dropped.

Knowing that Villy has always revived gives Victoria hope that she’ll win Billy back again. Lily knows the score and fears that Victoria might be right, which is why she’s increasing the intensity of their exchanges.
