Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, Jacob had nothing but positive things to say about the blonde beauty, who decided to leave daytime television in order to pursue other opportunities in the entertainment industry. As many fans know by now, Alyvia is going to star in the upcoming series, Chucky.

According to Jacob, he is so happy to see Alyvia’s career taking off. He tells the publication, “She’s so focused and down-to-earth, and she’s younger than me! At 13, I was playing video games, so for her to handle everything with such grace and ease while being in the business is inspiring.”

Jacob also gives a lot of credit to his co-star Bryton James (Devon Hamilton) for helping him adjust to the daytime television world. After all, it’s one that goes very fast, as soap opera stars are some of the hardest working actors in the television industry, because of the demands that come with production.

“He’s been really great,” Jacob said of Devon, adding, “He said I remind him of when he was my age, so he’s already telling me to have protein shakes in the morning and showing me workout routines. I’m following those guidelines so I can get where he’s at.”
