Miley Cyrus joked that the couple named their baby girl after Hannah Montana, and sent fans into a frenzy.

Joe and Sophie have been very private about their 8-month-old daughter, and since Sophie gave birth in July 2020, the baby’s name was thought to be Willa, with a source revealing at the time, “Willa isn’t a family name and isn’t short for anything. [It] is a name they had picked out a while ago before the baby’s arrival.”

However, Miley sent all Disney fans into sleuthing mode regarding the name of the couple’s child after she sent them a giant, star-shaped Hannah Montana-themed flower sculpture with purple, yellow and pink flowers, to celebrate the hit show’s 15-year anniversary, which Joe posted on his Instagram with the caption, “HOLY HANNAH MONTANA!!! THANK YOU @mileycyrus WE LOVE IT! THIS IS EPIC!!,” Sophie adding, “”THANK U HANNAH WE [purple heart] U.”

But it was a handwritten note accompanying the bouquet, was that caught the attention of eagle-eyed fans. The note which appeared to read, “To Joe & Sophie! It was so sweet of you to name your daughter after me! Sending all my love to little Miss Hannah Montana! Love, Hannah Montana,” had everyone questioning if the Jonas-Turner baby was named after Miley’s iconic Disney pop star alter-ego.

Sophie Turner Is A Huge Fan Of Hannah Montana, But No, She didn’t Name Her Child After The Character

The Hannah Montana reference wouldn’t be a huge surprise if it were considering that Sophie is a big fan of Miley’s TV show. The Game of Thrones alum even dubbed Joe “hubbs of the year” when he gave her a Hannah Montana T-shirt as an early Christmas present last year.

Despite speculation, all signs have pointed to the name Willa with Sophie even getting a tattoo of the letter “W” in tribute to her daughter’s name, so Miley’s note is likely to be an inside joke rather than any revelation of the baby’s secret name.
