General Hospital (GH) spoilers and updates tease that fans have been in emotional flux ever since Roger Howarth’s character Franco Baldwin bit the bullet and died a most gruesome death in Port Charles, New York.

Franco was killed off on March 9 at the hands of evil Peter August (Wes Ramsey). Subsequently, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was arrested for the murder but half the town has its doubts. This has entangled the lives of several characters who have a stake in freeing the paid assassin who ironically is not the killer in this particular case.

Carly Corinthos (Laura Wright) is doing everything in her hysterical power to wrench her bestie from behind bars.

At the same time, Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stewart) are also in on the action.

Elsewhere Scottie Baldwin (Kin Shriner) is on the warpath. Liz Webber (Rebecca Herbst) lost her husband and her son Cameron Webber (William Lipton) has been an avenging angel.

All of these people will be gobsmacked when the actor returns as a different character. Roger Howarth’s character will be doppelgänger for Franco and sure to shock the townspeople. No matter his choice of hairstyle or clothing, no cosmetic changes will alter the handsome mug that they will be faced with.

Will the show bring back a relative of Franco? This would explain his similarity in appearance. Or perhaps a completely opposite character—who else wants to see another emotionally tortured priest who moonlights in a separate profession take Port Charles by storm?
